currently: i am a freelance writer, editor, researcher, and movement artist based in oakland.

i’m interested in narrative and embodied ways of engaging with the climate crisis. my work explores more-than-human ways of knowing, and non-hierarchical frameworks for imagining an ecologically resilient future.

background:  i have a master's degree in journalism from northwestern university and a bachelor's in environmental analysis from pomona college.

i am a resident artist at unearth art society and co-creator of landing movement festival.

i moved from my hometown of chicago to berkeley for an urban farming residency in 2024, and the redwoods persuaded me to put down roots of my own in the east bay.
