Movement

I grew up training in classical ballet, modern, and contemporary technique, and and completed a minor in dance performance at Pomona College. While I was in grad school in Chicago, I had the opportunity to perform as a company member with Cocodaco Dance project, and as a freelancer with other contemporary groups. I later co-founded and served as community director of Echo Modern Dance Collective. I am currently a resident artist with UneARTh Arts Society — a coalition of dancers focused on the intersection of art and climate action.

I am a co-creator of Landing — an annual movement festival at Zumwalt Acres, centered on building reciprocal, loving relationships with land.

I am a registered yoga teacher and have been teaching restorative, vinyasa, and hatha style classes since 2019. I have been deeply inspired by Gaga and other inclusive guided improvisation formats, and I enjoy teaching intuitive movement workshops to groups of all ages and abilities. Please get in touch if you’d like to organize a session together!
